Collin Riff is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-6 190 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Saguaro. Tall slender build. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.13 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot, has a drop and drive delivery. Has a whippy arm the ball jumps out of his hand. the fastball sat 85-87 mph topping out at 90 mph. Worked well at the top of the zone generating a lot of swing and misses. Threw a curveball that sat 72 mph with occasional depth. Also worked out at first base, showed some athleticism, moved well across the diamond. Displayed good footwork with a quick transition, has a cannon the ball has good carry through the bag. Right-handed hitter, with a simple set up, the ball jumped off his barrel. Consistently drove the ball on a line middle away. Great student. Was named to the Southwest Prospect Top Prospect List.
