Maximiliano Garcia is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Hercules, CA who attends El Cerrito. Medium-large frame with definite corner profile actions on the dirt, some efficient lateral mobility with sound glove and footwork. In the box, he sets up with wide open stance that he turns into above average bat speed, rocketed some balls pull side with more power coming as he strengths up. Also, showed to be a tough out in game with multiple barrels throughout. On the mound, he delivers with short arm action and release out of high three-quarters slot that produces some arm side run on a fastball 76-80. He flashed a pair of quality breaker the first of which is a curveball that showed usable depth and generated weak contact with regularity. The second was a slider that he leaned on heavily to produce swing and miss late in count, his best one spun just north of 2200. 7.35 60-yard. Exceptional Student. Selected to the Top Prospect list.
