Isaac Ayon is a 2020 RHP/RHP, 3B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Fresno, CA who attends Central. Large frame with long limbs and wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a small side step to simple leg lift delivery. Stays balanced at gather and worked to the plate with tall and fall lower half actions. Clean arm circle at separation and released from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball generated heavy downhill tilt through the zone with run to arm side in the mid to upper 80's, topped at 88 miles per hour. Consistently located fastball to each edge of the plate with effectively staying down as well. Showed good feel for a slider after as well that had 9/4 shape with tight spin and late tilt to glove side in the upper 70's. Flashed more depth with breaking ball when staying on top of offering at release point. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing smooth paced, deliberate footwork while rounding the baseball. Worked through exchange efficiently and worked to a taller throwing position. Released from a three-quarters arm slot producing stiff, accurate carry across the infield at 85 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance. Coils hands at load and works to baseball on a looser path. Utilized a line drive barrel plane while working to the middle of the field between the gaps. Showed some strength with bat speed when squared that created solid jump off the barrel. Very good student. Named to the 2017 California Underclass Showcase, Top Prospect List.
