AJ Colarusso is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-0 188 lb. frame from Leominster, MA who attends Groton HS. Medium frame with some present strength and room for more. Primary left-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Simple and compact delivery with a three-quarters arm slot and good deception. Repeats and alters delivery with intent and has good body control. Fastball topped out at 89 mph and sat in the upper-80s with lots of sinking life. Ability to use both halves of the plate with intent and mixes in very good changeup with late fading action. Curveball primarily to land for strikes. Works very fast and generates quick, weak outs with consistency. Great student. Verbal commitment to Boston College.
