Jim Lawler is a 2021 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Demopolis, AL who attends Demopolis. Medium and projectable frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.14 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, sat back on the baseball during drills, young footwork working the baseball, longer releases with a loose arm action and high 3/4 arm slot, average arm strength topping out at 79 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with an even base and slightly open stance, small weight shift into contact taking an inside hand path to the baseball, can get the barrel out in front with linear habits to stroke, middle of the field approach with best contact being line drives as executed by approach.
