Evan Spader is a 2020 OF/ with a 5-8 180 lb. frame from Bowling Green, KY who attends Bowling Green. Medium frame with a strong, athletic build. Ran a 6.74 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with aggressive footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Clean glove actions at pick up and worked through exchange efficiently. Released from a three-quarters producing accurate carry to the bag, topped at 78 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and sweeping leg lift trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Inside hand path to contact with line drive barrel plane through extension. Looks to throw barrel head out front to contact and work the baseball to the middle of the field and pull side gap. Flashed some strength at contact with occasional jump off the barrel when on time and squared. Excellent student.
