Soren Grant is a 2020 C/1B, 3B with a 5-11 215 lb. frame from Minneapolis, MN who attends Patrick Henry. Medium frame with a large build and strength in upper half. Ran a 7.71 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Sets up in a high stance to start and catches into transfers. Gains ground out and to the bag. Accurate throws to the base topping out at 75 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a narrow and open stance to start and hands low. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Rotational lower half actions swinging with intent and creating some bat speed. Works to the pull side with consistent hard contact. Power approach at the plate. Very good student as well. Named to the 2019 Spring Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
