Martin Shelar is a 2026 OF/RHP/UT with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends Marist. Recorded a 6.57 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a strong and very physical frame. Worked to the ball methodically in the outfield and uses a short arm action. Big arm strength with plenty of carry and was accurate to the bases. Also worked out in the infield and showed the same big arm strength. Recorded throws up to 91 mph across the infield. Right-handed hitter and starts from a narrow and open base. Works to lift the ball with a steep bat path through the zone. Produced loud barrels that exploded coing off. Big pull side power that plays. Has easy and low effort strength, recording a 96 mph exit velocity. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to waist level. Long and loose arm, releasing from a high-3/4 slot. Lively fastball up to 89 mph from a fast arm. Delivery stays on line and competes hard. Controlled stuff well and mixed in a curveball sparingly. Showed a nasty changeup with fade as well. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 National Showcase- Main Event Top Prospect List.
