Joseph Brickey is a 2019 1B/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Wentzville, MO who attends Wentzville Holt. Large frame with present strength in build and square shoulders. Worked out defensively as a primary first baseman. Fields out front with soft hands and a clean funnel to the body. Shuffles off the bag and through transfer. Clean footwork on the turn to second base. Soft carry across the diamond with a long release topping out at 68 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an even stance to start and a toe tap trigger for timing. Deep load with linear actions to contact. Long path to contact and will get out on front foot at times. Line drive path through the zone with a middle of the field approach. Excellent student as well.
