William Hann is a 2019 RHP/3B, SS with a 6-1 184 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Olathe West High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins delivery with a short leg lift just up past belt, gets tall on back side and shows a short stride down the mound; fuller arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 82 mph early with short running life down in the zone, pitches to contact, projects with additional lower half incorporated into delivery. Can gets to glove side, flashed curveball up to 70 mph with 12-6 shape when on top and showed a feel to land the pitch for strikes; turns over changeup well well up to 72 mph. Takes quick and short steps moving towards the ball in the infield, moves well and shows sound fundamentals, gets on top of throws with a full arm action, gets on top of throws, extra step into release and shows carry to first base. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Lowers hands at start of swing and utilizes a double toe tap trigger for timing. Upper body swing, stays linear through the zone and shows quickness to hands. Repeats well and gets the barrel to the ball, shows ability to work all fields with a contact oriented approach.
