Carlos Vicente is a 2020 OF with a 5-7 167 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Colegio Cristo de los Milagros. Compact shorter build with some present strength and lots of body life. 6.51 runner, shows high level athleticism in the outfield, comes to the ball aggressively, confident glove out front with a good transition into his throws, solid arm strength with good carry and accuracy, centerfield tools and actions defensively. Switch-hitter, showed a bit more bat speed and a more direct swing path from the right side, high contact approach from the right side with the ability to move the ball around the field, tends to be more rotational and uphill from the left side. Also pitched, hides the ball well from a compact arm action and rotational delivery, 81 mph fastball gets on hitters quickly, short and hard slider is a solid second pitch for him. Very good student. Named to the Sunshine East Top Prospect List.
