Jackson Payne is a 2020 RHP/MIF with a 6-5 170 lb. frame from Clive, IA who attends Waukee. Ran a 7.20 second sixty-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher with a tall and slender frame, with plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Starts from the windup with a small side step, into a belt high leg lift. Stays tall at gather, going to drop and drive actions down the mound. Creates good linear direction in the lower half, landing on line at foot strike and staying on line through finish, getting good extension over the front side. Has good command of the fastball, attacking the zone for strikes at 85-to-87 miles per hour, and mixes speeds well with a curveball that has 11-5 shape and good depth at 76 miles per hour.
