Shay Timmer is a 2021 RHP/1B with a 6-8 240 lb. frame from South Jordan, UT who attends Bingham. Extra large build with extremely long arms and legs. Works from the stretch with a slow and methodical delivery., high 3/4's to over the top arm slot with severe downhill plane, doesn't repeat his leg raise height well and will get off-time in his mechanics, some energy at release. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight. Tends to slow his arm on his secondary pitches, curveball has some 11/5 shape and depth. Lots of potential due to his size and loose arm. Good student.
