Josh Carrico is a 2020 3B/1B, UT with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Milton. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.67 seconds. Lefthanded hitter, hits from slightly open stance with quiet set, hands work well through swing, leg lift trigger, gets foot down on time and explodes through contact, torques hips well and creates leverage off of firm front side, consistent barrel with very good strength and bat speed, drives the ball into the gaps and has home run power pull-side, hit a missile of a home run in game to deep right field, highly-intriguing hitting tools. Worked out in the infield, hands work well out front with clean funnel, positions well and profiles well at third base, clean footwork to both sides, quick transfer and release, good accuracy across the diamond on throws, clocked up to 80 mph. Named to 2019 Atlantic Coast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List, excellent student.
