Vincent Gaffney is a 2006 left handed pitcher and outfielder with a 5'9" 155 pound frame from Chandler, Arizona who attends Highland High School. He has a strong body and is very athletic. Vincent has good arm speed and keeps the ball down in the zone. His mechanics are sound and he throws from an overhand arm slot. His fastball runs up and away at 74-77 mph. His curveball has good 12-6 break on it at 66 mph. His change up at 66 mph fades away and is his best pitch. He showed good command of all three pitches especially his fastball. Gaffney hits with a closed approach and has a short swing with no load. Vincent is a crafty lefty who will get hitters out.
