Rocco Peppi is a 2020 SS/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Marina HS. Medium frame with a strong build and square shoulders. Ran a 7.25 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Compact arm action with accurate carry across. Aggressive charge with athletic lateral movements. Throws topping out at 82 miles per hour. Also worked out from the outfield. Smooth pace to close. Maintains momentum through transfer and into throws. Compact arm circle in back and gets the ball out quickly. Some arm strength with accurate carry to the bag topping out at 89 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a narrow and open stance. Short and strong path to the ball. Tight hands but gets extended through contact. Middle of the field to pull side approach with some jump off the barrel. Good student as well. Named to the 2018 Sunshine West Top Prospect List.
