Chad Silvey is a 2019 C/RHP with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Farmington, MO who attends Farmington HS. Big and strong build with room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, upright narrow stance, big leg lift load can make him late starting his swing but doesn't get his weight shifted toward contact, long and loose swing with and uppercut plane, works gap to gap with some lift, has strength to hit but will first have to adjust his load. Straight back receiver, footwork is good throwing, 3/4's arm slot with a long exchange and arm action that can be shortened, receives the ball well with strong hands. Good student.
