2019 PG Underclass All American Games
Will Turner is a 2021 OF/LHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Auburn. Projectable athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Two-way prospect who graded out much better on the mound at this event. Slow paced delivery with good temp, high leg lift that gets him tall over his back side, high hands through separation, stays on line well with good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, has angle to his fastball with occasional sink or cut. Sweeping slider that showed very good spin and big shape and angle darting across the plate, breaking ball is very promising. Showed his arm strength very well from the outfield and first base during drills as well. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance with a short downward swing plane, opposite field approach with emphasis on mechanics over bat speed. Excellent student. Named to the All-American Underclass Games Top Prospect List due to his pitching.
