Conner Gore is a 2020 SS/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Enid, OK who attends Enid High School. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, present strength to frame with additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, actions play at third base, shows quickness to third base with shorter steps, fields the ball out front and funnels into a short and compact arm action with a quick transfer, can manipulate release point with intent to complete play, accuracy across the diamond with arm strength that will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Short stride through lower half moving into contact, stays inside the ball and tracks it well. Full path through the zone, occasionally pulls front side early. Shows ability to barrel the ball and has looseness to hands through swing. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Oklahoma State.
