Hunter Briles is a 2019 C/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Russellville, AL who attends Russellville HS. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Young catching actions behind the plate, tends to stand straight up to throw with minimal gain, has quick hands receiving the ball and in his exchange, 7.52 runner. Right handed hitter, very spread stance with a big back tap foot trigger, busy hands with a deep pull back load, lots going to keep timing consistent and swing short, gets the barrel out early and handles it will, mid field line drive contact, has some strength in his swing he could better utilize with adjustments. Good student.
