Michael Fraser is a 2018 SS/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Mashpee, MA who attends Mashpee High School. Medium, athletic frame with lean, athletic frame and projects moving forward with room to fill throughout. Ran a 5.11 40-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front, takes short and quick steps moving towards the ball, quick transfer and gets on top of throws, clean release and shows nice accuracy across the diamond, can throw from multiple arm slots with comfort. Righthanded hitter, begins with a narrow and closed stance in the box, small leg lift trigger for timing. Utilizes a contact approach and stays compact with swing path through the zone, nice angle to the ball and can elevate into the air. Projects with additional strength, comes off the barrel nicely when on time. Excellent student.
