Brock Fabian is a 2006 RHP/1B from Tesoro HS in Mission Viejo, CA, with a 6'2", 190 lb. frame with a lot of upside to add more muscle. Fabian has some minor delivery flaws, but they are all correctable and with added strength he could really step it up and pitch at the next level. He has a feel for the strike zone with good control, and when he gets out front with his release, he is able to keep the ball down in the zone with consistency. His fastball topped out at 80 mph with some arm side life, and he mixed in a 67 mph curve ball and a 70 mph change up. His curveball was his best pitch with good depth. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with a wide base and has a slight weight shift upon contact with the ball. Fabian has the ability to use all fields with good hands. He is a good looking player with a future on the mound.
