Alex Imposimato is a 2020 C/IF/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Wake Forest, NC who attends Heritage HS. Medium, athletic frame with young look, square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Excellent runner, posted a 6.67 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, steady tempo to actions behind the plate, receives the ball out front, gains ground with lower half and shows footwork, gets on top of throws and shows accuracy down to second base, fuller arm stroke, arm strength will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and high hand set in the box; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Short shift through lower h alf and shows good direction moving into contact, incorporates hands well. Able to generate extension out front with a full path, shows bat speed and works the middle and pull side parts of the field. Tools will continue to progress with physical development. Very good student.
