Tate Satterfield is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Wellington, CO who attends Poudre. Athletic and large frame that really projects physically. Ran a 6.85 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the baseball out in front, athletic actions throughout gather, compact arm action into throws getting on top of the baseball well, plenty of carry to throws while getting rid of the baseball quickly, present arm strength topping out at 86 mph from the outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher, directional and raw delivery, quick arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, throws with some effort and could get more from his lower half driving down the mound, more velocity should come with the improvement of his lower half usage, fastball topped out at 84 mph, mixed in an 11-to-5 curveball with average swing and shape, will improve quickly on the mound with added reps. Righthanded hitter, even stance with a high back elbow and high hand set, toe tap trigger used for timing, swings with intent looking to pull flashing the pop to hit for power, could loosen upper half for more fluidity to swing path, pull side approach.
