Nate Fehrman is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Oak Mountain. Medium and lean frame with some more room to fill. Ran a 7.30 second 60 yard dash, 4.81 second home to first. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins his windup with a side step up to a high leg lift, full arm action up to an over the top arm slot, hides the baseball through the back, good tempo to the delivery landing closed off and throwing across his body. Fastball is mostly straight and flashed occasional armside life topping out at 75 mph, mixed in a curveball with 11-to-5 shape that flashed sharpness, developing changeup that will improve with maintained fastball arm speed, mixed all three pitches filling ups he zone well. Secondary outfielder, fields the baseball with two hands, short arm action into throws producing a best velocity of 77 mph from the outfield, accurate throws consistently. Righthanded hitter, slightly open stance, takes a big stride into contact, inside and short hand path to the baseball, flashes quickness to his hands getting downhill with his swing plane, will improve impact strength with some refinement.
