Brady Garcia is a 2021 LHP with a 6-6 175 lb. frame from Spanish Fort, AL who attends Spanish Fort. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs with a high waist, lean and projectable build with lots of room to fill out physically. Lefthanded pitcher, begins with a leg lift up above belt, up-tempo pace and lands closed with strike foot to create a cross-fire element to release, can incorporate additional lower half into drive. Long and quick arm action through the back working to an over-the-top release point; generates angle and plane when on top, topped out at 85 mph with sinking life and maintained velocity out of the stretch. Hides the ball well and located to corners nicely, showed ability to miss bats with deception. Slows arm action prior to release of curveball, lands the breaking ball for strikes up to 73 mph; flashed a changeup at 78 mph. Filled the zone and made hitters look uncomfortable with fastball throughout outing, will quick-pitch to disrupt hitter's timing. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Alabama.
