Juhlien Gonzalez is a 2021 3B/SS with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Southwest Ranches, FL who attends American Heritage HS. Recorded a 7.65 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some wiry present strength well-proportioned throughout. Primary third baseman who fields out in front and bends at the waist. Quick feet and rounds the ball nicely. Quick transfer with a shorter arm action. Soft hands with clean funnels and throws recorded up to 86 mph. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short turn step into a leg lift at the belt. Longer arm stroke with good whip and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot. Good shape to the breaking ball with 11/5 depth to it. Good sink on the fastball. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Deeper hands and has bat speed with fluidity. Easy path with looseness throughout. Good power to the pull side at present. Good student. Verbal commitment to Florida International.
