Jake Kleszczynski is a 2017 C/OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Thornton, CO who attends Mountain Range HS. Medium frame with a compact, athletic build. Right handed hitter with compact hand actions to contact and rotational top half mechanics. Creates occasional shift with lower half into contact with a mid-field approach. Flashed barrel skills that allowed for line drive contact from gap to gap. Worked out defensively from behind the plate showing a low set with good hip flexion. Produced on line throws with a compact arm action that creates good carry to the bag. Creates good momentum to the bag with lower half quickness. Athletic actions while working behind the plate, will improve with continued fluidity through transition. Good student.
