Brock Simon is a 2018 OF with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Cascade, IA who attends Cascade HS. Young very slender build, young look, lots of time and room to get stronger. Good speed, 6.97 in the sixty, has sound young fundamentals in the outfield on defense, stays balanced and fields the ball cleanly, loose arm action with developing arm strength, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, tall open stance with a high hand start, stays balanced well and has a sound swing, showed good barrel control and made consistent contact, back spun the ball a bit with his swing plane. Projectable young player who should keep developing as he gets stronger. Good student.
