Michael Curialle is a 2019 SS/ with a 6-3 198 lb. frame from Mission Viejo, CA who attends JSerra Catholic. Large frame with an athletic build and present strength. Projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 6.42 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with smooth, athletic footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Funneled the baseball with fluidity and worked through exchange quickly. Displayed very good arm strength across the infield generating stiff carry to the bag at 89 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and simple front side trigger. Shifts into contact well with linear lower half actions. Utilized a simple, naturally lifted barrel plane with present bat speed through extension. Maintained balance throughout swing and created loud, explosive contact to all fields. Named to the 2018 West Academic Showcase Top Prospect Showcase.
