2017 PG Underclass All American Games
Kevin Karstetter is a 2020 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from State College, PA who attends State College Area HS. Tall angular build, some present strength with plenty more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a big leg lift load, tends to get his front foot down late, keeps his hands short to the ball to catch up, flashes raw bat speed but will have to make adjustments for it to come out consistently against better pitching. 6.84 runner at the PG Sunshine Northeast Showcase, works well through the ball on defense and shows his athleticism, stays low through the ball, has developing arm strength. Young athlete with lots of time to develop, looks the part at a young age. Good student.
