Very athletic actions behind the plate defensively, stays low and gains ground throwing, has arm strength and makes accurate on line throws with a quick release, has the tools to be a high level defender behind the plate especially if he can get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance, torques his hips well to get his hips involved, good hand quickness, squares the ball up well and flashed some gap to gap power. Nice all around athlete for a catcher and has offensive potential. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Clemson.
