Adam Colangelo is a 2018 2B/SS with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Pine Plains, NY who attends Salisbury. Young, athletic build with solid present strength and very good physical projection. Right-handed hitter, sets up square to the plate, employs simple toe tap trigger and overall simple approach to hitting with good bat to ball skills. Makes consistent contact to all parts of the field. Inside out swing path with opposite-field approach, can turn on the ball and pull it when needed. Fielded well during defensive drills, with good path to the ball and clean actions. Has range to both sides with quick footwork, clean exchange to throwing hand with accurate throws across the diamond, topping at 74 MPH. Ran well, posting a 7.30 60 yard dash time. Good student.
