Lucas Feinstein is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Washington Crossing, PA who attends Council Rock North. Small frame with a compact build. Projects for additional size with strength. Right handed hitter with a narrow, open stance. Mid-field approach and brings lower half to contact well. Quick, compact hand path to contact with a linear plane. Shows the barrel control to hit to all fields with consistency. Flashed strength to the gaps with solid carry when contact was squared. Worked out defensively from the outfield showing deliberate actions through gather and release. Short, quick arm action with solid arm strength, topped at 80 mph from the outfield with accuracy to the bag. Developing footwork and glove skills that will continue to improve with mechanical refinement and fluidity. Good student as well.
