Alex Bonnette is a 2016 2B/SS with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Lake Travis. Medium, athletic build with a lean and projectable build, longer limbs with room to fill out. Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front and does a nice job of staying low through the ball, moves well on feet to the ball with some range, longer release but short arm action with easy actions and arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base, begins with balanced stance a tight hands close to body. Upper body swing, utilizes hands well throughout. Line drive swing plane, short path to ball, shows feel for the barrel and uses a pull side approach. Projects with continued incorporation of lower half, creates line drive contact and shows ability to hit to all fields.
