Tyler Young is a 2020 SS/2B/3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from New Hope, PA who attends Central Bucks-East HS. Medium athletic build, has some wiry strength with room for more. 7.47 runner, has athletic actions in the middle infield, works around and through the ball with nice fundamental footwork and good balance, clean transfer to throw, loose arm with very good arm strength across the diamond. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a simple and well timed trigger to his swing, swings hard and creates bat speed and can impact the ball, has occasional lift out front, mature and repeatable swing mechanics, projects very well as a hitter as he gets stronger. Solid all around player. Good student.
