2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 6)
Austin Robinson is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-4 201 lb. frame from Villa Rica, GA who attends South Paulding. Leaner build with good amounts of length to his upper and lower half. Lots of physical projection still in place with some definition to the upper body. Primary outfielder, showed twitchy actions with present arm strength and arm speed that translates on the mound. Charges hard and fires it from a shorter slot with plenty of carry and velocity. Good accuracy on a line, impressive round that really stood out. Right-handed hitter, starts from a wider base with an inward toe tap into stride. Showcased a loud round with multiple homers, using his long limbs to stay on top and generate bat speed. Good length to the barrel with impressive hand speed, shows plenty of power potential. Produces carry with easy strength at contact. Enticing two-way product that showcased some loud tools. Good student.
