Jake Sims is a 2017 OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Niwot, CO who attends Niwot HS. Shorter athletic build with some present strength. Switch-hitter, has a nice simple and short swing right handed, crisp line drive contact, is able to wait on the ball and be selective, more of a rotational upper body swing from the left side but still has some bat speed, less selective from the left side. 7.00 runner, second base throwing action and build, throws open from the outfield, charges the ball hard and is aggressive. Good student.
