Nathan Anderson is a 2018 C/1B, RHP with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Northborough, MA who attends Algonquin Reg. XL frame with broad shoulders and long, lean present build with excellent physical projection. Hits with lower hand set and small leg lift trigger, simplistic hitting mechanics, line drive swing plane with rotational swing, solid timing and good extension through contact, has good jump off bat when barreled up, projectable power potential as well. Fields cleanly at 1B, waits back on the ball and stays down, pivots well and throws accurately to 2B and 3B up to 71 MPH. Presents good target behind the plate and receives ball well, good mechanics in footwork, gains ground well, quick transfer and solid arm strength, C velocity up to 73 MPH and pop time as low as 2.09 seconds. Pitched as well for 1 inning, long arm action with good looseness, high 3/4 slot, FB worked 72-76 with some sink, generates weak contact with FB, showed 11/5 CB with good depth, located well with both pitches.
