Jared DaRocha is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Torrance, CA who attends North High Schoold. Medium, young, slender build with significant room to fill out. Ran a 7.68 60 yard dash. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and hides the ball very well. Will improve with more balance. Throws consistent strikes and tops at 76 mph with his fastball. Mixes a 1-7 curveball with solid depth and pitches downhill. Also mixes a 71 mph changeup with arm side fade. Also swung the bat, gets on his front foot at times but has a line drive swing path. Moves well off of first base. Very good student.
