Stephen Grove is a 2010 RHP/3B with a 5'10'', 184 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Golden Gate HS. Solid compact build, mature look. High leg lift, long arm action, stays closed and balanced, low effort release, loose arm, mechanics work well. FB to 83 mph, nice CB spin/shape, nice change up, throws 3 solid pitches for K's, competes well. Has hitting tools, spread stance, quick hands, solid bat speed, simple swing with lift, can drive the ball, good defensive tools at 3B, potential 2 way player. Good student.
