2015 West Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Stephen Kish is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Oxnard, CA who attends Oxnard HS. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and nice present strength throughout well proportioned frame. Strong runner, posted a 6.77 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball with aggressive actions, remains tall at release, higher slot release, comes out cleanly from hand with present strength and carry. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and a square stance. Upper body swing, has ability to hit the ball deep, shows a short and quick bat path to the ball through the zone, generates nice carry with loud sound off the barrel. Physicality plays in swing, shows feel for the barrel and looks to lift out front. Named to West Coast Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
