Joseph Salvo is a 2020 C/2B/3B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Seabrook Island, SC who attends Buford. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Polished defensive catcher, repeats his actions receiving, shifting and throwing very consistently, has more raw arm strength than shown, emphasis on throws is very much on quickness in release, was very athletic on pop ups and competed hard. Right handed hitter, hits from a wrapped barrel start with a large hand hitch load, has strong hands and can fight off balls but long and occasionally late load leaves him behind, can get the ball to jump when he's on time and out front, has the tools to improve with some adjustments. Good student. Named to the National Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
