Trent Barron is a 2017 MIF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Trenton, FL who attends Santa Fe HS. Barron has a lean build with broad slopping shoulders. Hits from a slightly open stance with hands tight to body. Good weight transfer into swing with good rhythm and timing. Good feel for barrel. Repeats swing with a simple approach to the ball. Has quiet hands to ball and stays inside well with a short compact swing. Mid field approach with good extension. Defensively, short sure steps to ball with good actions, feet work well and comes through the ball well. Good arm action and accurate throws. Outstanding Student.
