CJ Gillmer is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Doylestown, PA who attends Central Bucks-East. Medium, athletic build with loose actions and a lean, projectable frame that projects well with added strength. Ran a 7.18 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front showing quick feet and solid actions through the ball. Quick and clean transfers with solid glove skills, nice overall defensive actions, will continue to develop arm strength on throws. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even stance and a high hand set. Smooth swing with balance at the plate. Upper body swing with a compact and quick line drive stroke to the ball. Shows a nice feel for the barrel and has ability to use all fields. Nice tools that will continue to develop with added strength. Very good student.
