Alex Stanwich is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Tinley Park, IL who attends Lincolnway East. Large, athletic frame with present physical strength proportioned nicely throughout frame. Fast-twitch, posted a 6.59 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball on the approach, shows quickness and agility, longer arm stroke through the backside with some effort at release, longer gather, present arm strength on throws with on line carry towards the intended base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; coils well at start of swing, ,shows quickness to hands with present bat speed through the zone. Twitch plays in swing, shows the ability to create loft at the point of contact to pull side, fast hands, ball jumps off of the barrel when squared. Good student. Verbal commitment to Tennessee.
