Tyler Fierro is a 2017 1B/OF with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from La Canada, CA who attends La Canada. Large frame with strong present build; some projection remaining as well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.92 seconds. Sets up to hit from crouched, slightly open stance with wide base, shows naturally lofted swing plane through the zone with good extension through contact. Shows quick hands with good strength at contact, able to drive the ball to the pull field consistently with success. Worked out defensively at 1st base, funnels well out front deep into hands, shows quality footwork around and off the bag as well as on charge, was consistently accurate on throws across the diamond, clocked up to 73 MPH. Very good student.
