Chase Honeycutt is a 2020 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Southaven, MS who attends DeSoto Central HS. Recorded a 7.41 second 60-yard dash time. Medium height with present physicality and strength to the build. Primary catcher with an upright stance but good transfer and accurate throws down to the bag. Quick release and has good feel for the position. Secondary infielder with arm strength recorded up to 80 mph across. Solid hands that work through the exchange well. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a side step into a leg lift and accelerates toward the plate. Falls off to the first base side a bit but maintains velocity well. Quick arm action from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Righthanded hitter with a narrow and slightly open stance. Looseness to hands and shifts weight cleanly forward. Leg lift trigger allows him to incorporate lower half well. Fluidity to swing with present offensive tools. Can work to all fields and projects nicely. Good student.
