Tyler Kim is a 2016 OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Issaquah HS. Medium, athletic frame. Right handed hitter with a straight stance and balance throughout swing. Quick up and down stride with good quick twitch hand path to contact. Shows present bat speed with a line drive swing path and a mid- field approach. Swing tends to be in and out of zone quickly, could produced more power and backspin with improved extension through contact. Worked out defensively from the outfield. Smooth, athletic actoins throughtout close and transitoin. Very smooth glove skills and footwork. Plus arm with great whip from an overtop arm slot. Throws produce on line carry topping at 86 mph. Solid tool set with present athletic abilities. Good follow. Good student as well.
