Tyler Elting is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Lone Star. Elting has a lean build with room to fill out. Hits from a square stance. Slightly open stance. Short leg lift trigger. Line drive swing, stays inside ball well, makes consistent contact. Bat should develop with added strength. Defensively, advanced fielding tools, has quick transfer and release with a good approach to ball. Hands work real well and shows good range. Also pitched. low 3/4 arm slot. Good tempo in delivery. Fastball has good arm side run and sink. Has loose arm action. Mixed in curveball and change up to keep hitters off balance. Named To Top Prospect Team. Good Student.
